Sleep Number Sleep IQ

Creative/UX Director

When Sleep Number wanted to enhance the features of their bed lineup, they turned to technology from the medical industry capable of monitoring a person’s sleep movements with high precision. By utilizing this data, they wanted to quantify a ‘good night’s sleep’. One of the first products of its kind on the market, Sleep Number needed some help to take their complex data and present it in a way that made sense to users. Enter the ‘Sleep IQ’ score. Each night the user is given a score evaluating how they slept. The patterns that were designed and developed here are now widely seen in sleep tracking apps and devices.
